Annet Mahendru

Mahendru was born to Mahendru, who has a Russian Indian mother and a Hindu Afghan father. She speaks fluently German Russian English. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father and a Russian mother. In her early teens she choreographed and performed a dance which resulted in the honor of a German television show. The show featured a Russian-born snow maiden who was transformed into an exciting Indian dancer. She graduated from high school at the age of 11 in New York before earning a bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. Following high school, she attended classes in acting at HB but subsequently enrolled in improv at Groundlings School. She then played a variety of roles in comedy. She was created at the age of 13 in Kabul Afghanistan, to Hindu-Indian Ghanshan Kenne Mahendru (father) as well as Russian Olga (mother). Her father moved her to New York's East Meadow York at the age of thirteen year old. She stars in FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. TV actress known for playing an ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. She had a recurring part in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
